BNC Ministries Faith Statement
Adopted on October 10th, 2024
BNC Ministries holds firmly to the doctrines of the Holy Scriptures, guided by the truths of the King James Bible. Our faith is rooted in the eternal and unchanging Word of God, and we seek to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by proclaiming His Gospel to all the world. Below is a detailed statement of our faith, with each point supported by the Scriptures.
1. Bible: God’s Infallible Word
We believe that the Bible, consisting of the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God. It is our final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
- 2 Timothy 3:16-17
- Psalm 119:160
2. The Holy Trinity
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal, working together in perfect unity.
- 1 John 5:7
- Matthew 28:19
3. God the Father
We believe that God the Father is the Creator and Sustainer of all things. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, and ever-present. He loves mankind and desires for all to come to repentance.
- Genesis 1:1
- Genesis 1:26
- John 3:16
4. Jesus Christ: The Son of God
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His substitutionary death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, and His ascension into heaven, where He now sits at the right hand of God interceding for believers.
- John 1:1, 14
- 1 Peter 2:24
5. The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He indwells, seals, sanctifies, and empowers believers for godly living and service.
- John 16:13
- Ephesians 1:13
6. Salvation: By Grace Through Faith
We believe that salvation is a gift of God, received by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. No human effort or works can earn salvation. True salvation results in a transformed life, and believers are called to live holy and godly lives.
- Ephesians 2:8-9
- Romans 10:9
7. The Church: Christ’s Body
We believe that the local church is a congregation of baptized believers, united for the purpose of worship, fellowship, teaching, and spreading the Gospel. Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church, and we are called to make disciples of all nations.
- Matthew 16:18
- Ephesians 5:23
8. Baptism and the Lord’s Supper
We believe that baptism by immersion is a public testimony of a believer’s faith in Jesus Christ, symbolizing the death, burial, and resurrection. The Lord’s Supper is a remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice, open to all born-again believers.
- Matthew 28:19
- 1 Corinthians 11:24-25
9. The Return of Christ
We believe in the literal, visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to rapture His Church and to establish His kingdom. We also believe in the final judgment, where unbelievers will be cast into eternal punishment, and believers will enter eternal life with God.
- 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
- Revelation 19:11-16
- 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
- Revelation 20:12-15
10. Eternal Security of the Believer
We believe that once a person is truly born again, they are sealed by the Holy Spirit and cannot lose their salvation. Believers are secure in Christ and will be kept by God’s power until the day of redemption.
- John 10:28-29
- Philippians 1:6
11. Heaven and Hell
We believe in the reality of heaven and hell. Heaven is the eternal dwelling place of believers, where they will enjoy everlasting fellowship with God. Hell is the place of eternal punishment for the unsaved, separated from God’s presence.
- John 14:2-3
- Revelation 20:15
12. The Great Commission
We believe that it is the responsibility of every believer to share the Gospel and make disciples. Jesus Christ commands us to spread His Word throughout the world, baptizing and teaching others to follow Him.
- Matthew 28:19-20
- Acts 1:8
Here at BNC Ministries, we are committed to living out these truths in every aspect of our ministry, teaching, and daily walk with Christ. We invite you to join us as we strive to fulfill the Great Commission and serve our Lord with all our hearts.
