The Testimony That Started It All!

 

From the Cab of a Truck to a Worldwide Ministry

In May of 2004, on a seemingly ordinary Sunday morning in Johnstown, New York, the extraordinary hand of God set a divine appointment in motion. Two truck drivers, parked at a Walmart Distribution Center, crossed paths in a way that only the Lord could have orchestrated. Brother Bruce Riley, a bold witness from Rolla, Missouri, stepped out in faith and invited me—a young truck driver named JC Mullinax—to a small Bible study held in the upper room above a repair shop.

I accepted his invitation. That morning, Brother Bruce opened the Word of God and faithfully presented the gospel of Jesus Christ. There, in that quiet, unassuming space, I gave my heart to the Lord and trusted fully in the finished work of Christ on the cross. For the next five years, Bruce Riley continued to minister to me, pray with me, and help lay a firm foundation for my new walk with the Lord.

After five faithful years of service, God gave Brother Bruce a new assignment and moved him into another area of ministry. But the Lord wasn’t finished building me. In His perfect timing, God brought Brother Gavin Bellomy into my life. Gavin became not only a close friend but also a spiritual mentor and trainer. He placed me into a deeper, more rigorous season of discipleship—one that shaped every part of my Christian life. Through a disciplined and structured training process, Gavin taught me what it meant to live a life fully surrendered to Christ. That time of discipleship transformed my walk with God and laid the spiritual framework for the ministry I serve in today.

What began as one act of obedience became the foundation of a global outreach. More than 20 years later, the same mission that started in an upper room is still burning strong—rooted in one unwavering goal:

SPREADING THE GOSPEL.

 

A Network Built to Reach the World

BNC Ministries has grown into a full-scale Christian broadcasting network. We help qualified individuals—trained and supported by our leadership—launch live video programs, podcasts, blogs, and Bible studies designed to equip and encourage others in their walk with the Lord.

Each program is unique in style and voice, but united in message:
Jesus saves, and the world needs to hear it.

  • “Manna Minutes” – Broadcast live from all around the southeast in a cab of a Semi Truck. Home based out of Valdosta, Ga on Monday @ 3pm Eastern, Hosted by bible teacher Craig Peters. An interactive Bible study.

  • “5 Minutes in The Word” – Hosted by Preacher Jerry James and recorded live from Easley, South Carolina, at 8:00 AM (Monday–Friday), delivering short, powerful devotionals rooted in Scripture.

  • “A Sip of Water” – With Mike Robinson, a refreshing look at the simplicity and strength of God’s Word, airing Tuesdays and Thursdays.

  • “Biblical Manhood” – Led by Pastor Mark Tinsley, teaching men to live with biblical conviction and spiritual strength.

  • “Mail Call” – Where your questions are answered with Bible truth, hosted by BNC’s ministry team.
